湖北長江出版?zhèn)髅郊瘓F組建于2004年,2007年10月正式成立湖北長江出版?zhèn)髅郊瘓F有限公司,現(xiàn)擁有成員單位27家,其中全資成員單位(子公司)18家,控股公司6家,參股公司3家,年銷售達37億元,總資產過50億元。集團年出版圖書和電子音像制品3000余種,初步形成以圖書、報刊、音像、電子出版物編輯出版、印制、發(fā)行及相關物資供應為主,出版對外貿易、科研、教育培訓等各環(huán)節(jié)相配套,并以向影視、網(wǎng)絡等媒體及其他文化服務、地產物業(yè)等領域拓展的產業(yè)發(fā)展態(tài)勢,形成較為完備的產業(yè)體系,是湖北省大型出版文化產業(yè)集團,成為湖北省國民經濟重要組成部分和湖北省文化產業(yè)的龍頭企業(yè)之一。

Located in Central China in the historic city of Wuhan, Hubei Changjiang Publishing Group was founded in 2004, and has officially established a limited corporation in Oct, 2007. It currently owns 27 subsidiaries (consisting of 18 wholly-owned, 3 jointly-owned and 6 holding companies). With total capital of RMB 5 billion, Hubei Changjiang Publishing Group produces over 3,000 kinds of books, audio-visual and digital works, with annual sales of RMB 3.7 billion. Hubei Changjiang Publishing Group specializes in publication and marketing of books, periodicals, audio-visual and electronic works, copyright trade, research, and educational training. Hubei Changjiang Publishing Group is also extending its business to other media outlets and real estate, including film, television, internet and other cultural services. The Group is one of the largest corporations in the cultural publishing industry, and is one of the leading corporations in the provincial economy of Hubei, China.
