• The Unit QEHS Manager is responsible to define and implement Quality and EHS strategy, processes and tools and within the Unit.
• To ensure the defined level of Quality and EHS is measured, audited, reported on and where necessary actions plan are implemented and closely followed to address any issues.
• To ensure the consistent application of processes and tools in line with the strategy of the respective activity and of Thermal Systems
• The Cost of Poor Quality in the Unit. He/she is responsible to trigger root cause analysis and the determination of the effects and consequences, which is required to implement necessary actions and to provide the lessons learnt from it instigating improvement actions or initiatives within the Unit, Activity or Business.
• Management of the QEHS department in the Unit and any associated Units
• Ensure adequate QEHS resources with appropriate levels of competency is allocated to tenders and projects associated to the Unit

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree or above in related disciplines;
• Certified EHS professionals;
• Ability to solve complex problems by means of systematic solutions
• Auditor experience
• Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
• Excellent active listening skills.
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
• Strong analytic and decision-making abilities.
• Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
• Quality or EHS background preferable but not essential.
• Able to navigate in an multi-cultural environment
• English speaking.
