MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Education / Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in the area of Environment studies or related field.
Direct experience in developing and implementing environmental stewardship programs.
Direct experience developing and implementing waste minimization plans and programs.
Direct experience with environmental data systems.
Demonstrated ability to influence by example and the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Specific knowledge
Languages: English. Chinese and French capability is a plus.
Thorough understanding of risk management, as relates to environmental, and loss control methodology.
Good understanding of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management.

• Technical Business understanding
Good knowledge of international business organization.
Good knowledge of Environmental regulations and Health and Safety regulatory knowledge.

 
Responsibility
 
1. IDENTIFICATION
• Identify applicable environmental regulations and risks in Company China with Operations, Planning, Legal, Engineering, and EHS Corporate to implement acceptable systems in order to ensure compliance and conformance to EHS policies and Management Systems.
• Identify, assess, and reduce an organizations environmental risks and financial costs.
• Directs the inspection of organization facilities to detect existing and potential accident and health hazards and accordingly determines corrective and preventative measures.
2. INNOVATION
• Establish organization safety and health objectives policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and relevant occupational safety and health setup rule and regulations.
• Developing pollution control, pollution prevention, recycling programs and waste control projects.
• Developing environmental strategies that ensure corporate sustainable development.
• Set up safety and health KPIs to meet business needs and social responsibility.
• Accurate understanding of cost saving from improvement programs
• Innovative culture in Company China.
3. PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
• Manage the training of safety and health policies and practices to managers and employees. Such as onsite safety practice, fire prevention and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment and other related materials.
• Raising awareness, at all level of an organization, of the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice, on corporate, ethical and social responsibility.
• Systematic and strategic improvement programs in place.

4. ORGANIZATION AND HR
• Maintain motivated team with innovative organization across all segments and geographical areas.
• Conduct Performance Evaluation and Development Plan Review for the team members.
