We are pleased to invite you to join the 13th South China Environmental and Safety Management Association (SCESMA) meeting and technical visit to the captioned "Zero Discharge" and Environmental Friendly Power Plant in Heyang will be held on 6th April, 2012 (Friday). Please see the details of the event in the attached flyer.
This visit will be a whole day event and will focus on the operation of a "Zero Discharge" Power Plant in Heyuan which is operated under the Clean Production principle in China. It should provide members a good opportunity to explore what can be done to minimise environmental impacts and pollution from a typical unwanted energy facility as well as to enhance networking with our peers. Members of the Hong Kong Institute of Enviornmental Impact Assessment (HKIEIA) will also join the event.
For those who wish to join the visit, please note that a fee of RMB200 (SCESMA member) or RMB300 (non-SCESMA member) will be charged to cover the transportation and meals. Please register through Dr. Richard Cheung copied in this invitation.

Environmental Friendly Coal Fired Power Plant in Heyuan which is operated
under the Clean Production principle.

組，兩臺(tái)機(jī)組分別于2008 年12 月31 日和2009 年8 月14 日建成投產(chǎn)。河源電廠主機(jī)
設(shè)備采用哈爾濱三大動(dòng)力廠與日本三菱公司合作生產(chǎn)的600MW 超超臨界燃煤機(jī)組，機(jī)組
容量大、參數(shù)高、環(huán)保性能好，煤電轉(zhuǎn)換效率可達(dá)44.7%。與相同裝機(jī)容量的亞臨界燃
煤機(jī)組相比，超超臨界燃煤機(jī)組發(fā)電標(biāo)準(zhǔn)煤耗大幅降低，在實(shí)行“清污分流、一水多用”
后，耗水指標(biāo)大幅降低，每年可節(jié)省煤炭資源約25 萬(wàn)噸，節(jié)水近500 萬(wàn)立方米，實(shí)現(xiàn)發(fā)
電多、煤耗低、用水少的節(jié)能目標(biāo)，是建設(shè)資源節(jié)約型社會(huì)的重要實(shí)踐。河源電廠從設(shè)
計(jì)、土建、安裝、調(diào)試、生產(chǎn)各個(gè)階段都高度重視環(huán)境保護(hù)，最大限度地降低排放，實(shí)現(xiàn)
產(chǎn)業(yè)向清潔生產(chǎn)方式轉(zhuǎn)變，踐行“責(zé)任能源、環(huán)保能源”的戰(zhàn)略目標(biāo)。
Registration Details:
To cover the cost of ground transportation (from Lok Ma Chau to He Yuen and return),
lunch and dinner, a fee will be charged for this visit. Registration of this of this event is on a
“first-come-first served” basis with priority to SCESMA members. Group size is limited to
20 participants. Members of other professional bodies in the region will also be invited to
join this visit as appropriate. Detailed logistics and other arrangements will be notified to
