Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, you will lead and setup corporate EHS functions across manufacturing sites worldwide by developing corporate EHS systems, policies and procedures for operational processes, equipment and material utilization. You will ensure local compliance at manufacturing sites for EHS rules and regulations, while acting as the EHS resource for the leadership team to create worldclass environmentally and safety culture. Further, you will participate in EHS audits, facilitate audit processes for the Group, and drive efforts in closing audit findings. You will also track the Group’s global performance against key EHS metrics.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will be a degree holder in Engineering or Environmental Management, with an MBA an advantage. You will have 10-15 years of experience and success track record in leading regional corporate EHS functions with large multinationals in the manufacturing and industrial sector. This role will suit a hands-on self-starter with strong business acumen, excellent communication and leadership skills. Prior working experience in China is required along with fluency in English is required. Mandarin is highly desirable.Travel will be required on a need basis.
